AIA Conference Oct. 2024

Canada wasn’t so bad, eh?

The Adventist Intercollegiate Association (AIA) Conference 2024 was a success! Schools from across the NAD gathered in Lacombe, AB, Canada for an unforgettable experience. Our executive officers kicked off the week, preparing for the arrival of student association members from schools like Andrews University, Oakwood University, Loma Linda University, PUC, WAU, and many others.

The first day of the conference was filled with meetings, icebreakers, and an election. We elected the new AIA officers for 2025. The election featured a race between the current AIA president, Ali Bryan, and Anjali Ramella, a student from Southwestern Adventist University. In the end, we welcomed Anjali Ramella as the new AIA Executive President. We wrapped up the day with karaoke and plenty of time to relax and connect with friends.

On Friday, AIA member schools took a trip to Banff National Park and the town of Banff, where we enjoyed some fellowship and breathtaking views.

As the new AIA year begins, the newly elected officers are already working hard to prepare for the next conference in October 2025. We look forward to more amazing moments as our young people continue to serve God in the year ahead.
